ARTIST
PROFILE
Thank you for taking the time to browse the website of Encore Murals. I've been a working artist on the Monterey Peninsula for the past several years. These days I'm busy doing murals and trompe l'oeil in private homes and businesses. Trompe L'oeil is my specialty, making sure I focus on every detail in order to truly fool the viewer into thinking the image is real and not painted. I do commissioned paintings in addition to wall art, and I have done trompe l'oeil on furniture pieces as well. I'm an excellent idea person, so once you know you'd like something painted but you aren't sure what, we can put our heads together. Who knows...maybe I can create that special something for you! Now Open....studio lolo!! This is my working studio as well as a gallery. I'll be showing and selling my paintings, prints and cards, as well as having openings from time to time with new artists on display. Events will be listed in Monterey County Weekly as well as in GO/ The Herald. I will also be part of the PG art walks too. Regular hours for the studio will be Fri, Sat and Sun, noon to 5pm. Hope to see you there!

Art f/x Greeting Cards These cards feature one of my most popular paintings, "Rosso's Cat."
The Monterey County Lyceum Sidewalk Mural The client wanted a yellow brick road leading into the building. I thought we should make it interesting by adding trompe l'oeil items that the children may have dropped on their way in. Even Dorothy left her ruby slippers by the door!
Country Attic This store in Pacific Grove sells many of my painted items from furniture to canvases. The owner, Chaz, has given me many good ideas for future projects as well as handing out my business cards to clients who are looking for an artist's services. I also did the faux finish on the walls of her shop.
The Roger Williams Zoo Amphibian and Reptile Show I designed the logo for this event to be used on brochures and in advertising.
The Colonial Terrace Inn, Carmel, Ca I was lucky enough to paint eleven of the rooms at this bed and breakfast by the sea.
The ChatterBaux Children's Shop, Pacific Grove wall murals There are touches of my work throughout this delightful shop, and the owner, Pam Tade, continues to keep me busy as well as refering me to her clients.

Colorful Harvest LLC triptych for office This company is a grower of colorful fruits and vegetables which contain higher antioxidents. They commissioned me to do these paintings for their reception area. Each panel is 4' square.
John E. Matthams International Design Group Mural for the Bank of the West, Carmel, CA The mural is a 22 panel installation measuring 6'x33' featuring a family of bears nestled in a cypress grove with a Carmel backdrop.
